The New Finder Card V2 Is Here +48 Hour Father's Day Flash Sale: 20% Off

Father's Day 2026 is June 21. We're doing two things at once this year. First, a flash sale: 20% off everything site-wide for 48 hours, starting June 12 at 11:30 AM EST. Use code DAD2026 at checkout. After 48 hours, the discount is gone.

Second, we're spotlighting a product that's genuinely different from what most people give for Father's Day: the new Apple Finder Card V2. Designed to look like a real credit card. Hidden in plain sight in dad's wallet. Find My compatible. Built for the dad who's lost his wallet at least once this year.

The Flash Sale Details

Here's the math:

  • 20% off everything site-wide
  • Code: DAD2026
  • Starts: June 12 at 11:30 AM EST
  • Ends: 48 hours later (June 14 at 11:30 AM EST)

The discount applies to the entire order. Wallets, Finder Cards, accessories, everything. If you've been waiting for a reason to bundle a wallet with a Finder Card V2 for dad, this is the window.

Father's Day is June 21, which means you have a week between when the sale ends and when the gift needs to arrive. Standard shipping handles that without any stress.

Why the Finder Card V2 Is the Pick

Most Father's Day gift guides recommend the same things every year. Ties, grilling tools, golf accessories. The Finder Card V2 is in a different category because it solves an actual problem dad has, and it does it in a way the V1 couldn't.

Here's the difference. The original Apple Finder Card was the same size and a little thicker than a credit card, and it worked with Apple's Find My network. The V2 keeps all of that and a little more: its specs are a bit better, sound for locating is louder and it looks like a real credit card. Not a tracker shape, not a labeled device, not something that screams "this is technology." It looks like a card.

That visual design matters more than it sounds.

The Lost Wallet Scenario

Think about what happens when a wallet gets lost or stolen. If the person who finds it (or takes it) sees an obvious tracker card inside, the first thing they do is remove it and throw it away. The wallet then moves wherever it's going without the tracking signal. You're back to relying on luck.

The Finder Card V2 changes that. Because it looks like a regular credit card, it blends in with the other cards in the wallet. Someone going through the wallet quickly sees a stack of credit cards and doesn't bother removing any of them. The tracker stays in the wallet. The wallet stays trackable.

This is the security difference. The V1 was a tool for finding a wallet you misplaced at home. The V2 is a tool for finding a wallet you actually lost, possibly to someone else.

How the Tracking Works

The Finder Card V2 uses Bluetooth Low Energy to communicate with iPhones nearby. When dad's phone is in Bluetooth range (about 30 feet), he can see the card's location directly and ring it. When the wallet is out of his range, Apple's Find My network takes over. Other iPhones passing by the card detect its signal and anonymously relay the location back. Dad sees an updated location on his phone.

This means the wallet stays trackable as long as it's somewhere with iPhones passing by. In a city, that's pretty much everywhere. In a populated area, location updates come through quickly. The card's battery lasts about 3 years on a single charge, which is the trade for keeping it credit-card thin.

This version is iPhone-only. If dad uses Android, the existing Android Finder Card works with Google's Find Hub network, but it doesn't yet have the credit card visual design. We're working on that. For now, the V2 launch is for the Apple side.

Pairing It With a Wallet

The Finder Card V2 works in any wallet with a card slot. Including dad's current leather bifold if he refuses to upgrade. But the flash sale is also a good moment to swap out his old wallet, since 20% off applies to everything.

If you want to pair the Finder Card V2 with a new wallet, here's the format guide:

For the dad who carries minimal cards: pair with a Micro Wallet. 1.3mm thin, holds 6 to 8 cards including the Finder Card. Best for front-pocket carry.

For the dad who carries everything: pair with a Slim Wallet. 3mm thin, holds 12 to 16 cards plus folded cash, with RFID blocking. The Finder Card V2 slips into any card slot.

For the dad who travels: pair with a Passport Wallet. Tyvek, waterproof, fits the passport plus cards plus the Finder Card V2 hidden in the card stack.

For the dad who needs everything: bundle all three. The 20% discount applies to the whole order, so the bigger the cart, the bigger the absolute savings.

Why This Beats the Usual Father's Day Gifts

The honest comparison:

A tie ends up in the back of his closet. Used twice a year, maybe.

A grilling tool gets used at three barbecues a summer.

A golf accessory sits in the bag he forgot to bring on his last trip.

A Finder Card V2 inside a wallet gets used every single day. He doesn't have to think about it. It's just there, working in the background. And the first time he loses his wallet and finds it through Find My, he's going to call you to say thank you.

Stacking the Sale With Other Releases

The 20% discount also applies to recent releases. If dad would appreciate any of the following, this is the time to grab them:

The new Van Gogh Micro Wallets (The Starry Night and Sunflowers) released June 2.

The Tyler Shelton Good Boy Micro Wallet if he's a dog person.

The Apollo Thomas Bloomscape design (available in both Micro and Slim, releasing June 19) if dad appreciates botanical art.

Or browse the full collection with the 20% discount applied.

How to Use the Code

Add everything you want to the cart. At checkout, enter DAD2026 in the discount code field. The 20% comes off the order subtotal. The code works on full-price items and current inventory.

Just remember the window. The code expires 48 hours after it goes live on June 12 at 11:30 AM EST. After June 14 at 11:30 AM EST, the discount is gone and prices return to normal.

Shipping in Time for June 21

Standard shipping in the US runs 3 to 5 business days. If you place the order during the flash sale window (June 12 to June 14), you'll have your gift well before Father's Day on June 21. Express shipping is available at checkout if you need it faster.

Every Paperwallet order ships with packaging that looks gift-ready. The Finder Card V2 comes in its own slim case that fits inside any wallet packaging. So if you're bundling, the unwrapping experience is clean.

The Bottom Line

The Finder Card V2 is the gift dad doesn't know he wants. The 20% flash sale (June 12 to June 14, code DAD2026) is the window to grab it without paying full price. Father's Day on June 21 is the deadline.
