To help visitors customize their experience, we provide an on-site accessibility menu. The accessibility button in our header (and the "Accessibility" link in the footer) opens a panel with these adjustments:
- Accessibility Profiles: one-click presets for Seizure Safe, Vision Impaired, ADHD Friendly, Cognitive / Dyslexia, Keyboard Navigation, and Screen Reader.
- Content: text size, line height, letter spacing, readable font, dyslexia-friendly font, highlighted links and headings, and text alignment.
- Color: high contrast, dark mode, light mode, saturation, monochrome, and color inversion.
- Orientation & interaction: large cursor, reading guide, reading mask, stop animations, hide images, and mute sounds.
Your chosen settings are saved in your browser and remembered on your next visit. No data is sent to any server — everything runs locally in your browser.
An Honest Note
The accessibility panel is an assistive aid that gives visitors direct control over their viewing experience. It is a meaningful part of our approach, but it does not — by itself — make our site fully accessible or guarantee compliance with any legal standard. We also work on the underlying site: descriptive alt text, a logical heading structure, sufficient color contrast, and testing with keyboard and screen-reader users. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we are always looking for ways to improve.
